Tangerine dream: Ginnifer Goodwin turns heads in pretty lace dress after cozying up in winter sweater

She may not have lost out on a People's Choice Award on Wednesday evening, but Ginnifer Goodwin was simply enchanting as she charmed fans on late-night.
The 34-year-old Once Upon a Time star appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in an eye-catching orange dress after a casual day out in New York City.
The actress, who lost prize for Favorite Dramatic TV Actress to Ellen Pompeo, was meanwhile trending on Twitter as 'Oncers'  weighed in on why Ginnifer was more deserving of the fan-voted accolade.

The star didn't seem to be giving second though to the awards show, however.

Filming her segment with Fallon in New York before People's Choice aired from Los Angeles, she beamed as she walked on set and greeted the comedian.

 

Sporting her trademark pixie cut, and in a stunning orange A-line skirt and sheer lace top, her monochromatic looks was complimented by nude platform Louboutin pumps and a wide smile.

Ginnifer was on the talk show to promote her fantasy TV drama Once Upon a Time.

The raven haired actress plays Mary Margaret Blanchard/Snow White in the ABC series, which features fairytale characters as they're cast into the real world.

The show has developed a strong - and opinionated - fanbase since its debut in October, 2011.

Shortly after the Favourite Dramatic TV Actress gong was put in Pompeo's hands, loyal viewers were marching to Twitter to announce their disappointment.

The couple – who have a romance both on-and-off-screen - went public after he confirmed their relationship back in April.

Josh - who divorced Lara Pulver in 2011 - admitted his surprise at their blossoming feeling for each other.

He told People.com:  'It hit me like a blinding light. I thought, "I'm in trouble now."'
