A beauty for all ages: Gemma Arterton is striking in figure-hugging gown at Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters premiere

She stars opposite handsome Jeremy Renner in the latest big screen adaptation of Brothers Grimm fairytale Hansel and Gretel.
But Gemma Arterton stole the show from the action hero and the rest of the Witch Hunters cast as she stepped out for the Los Angeles movie premiere on Thursday night.
The British star was a timeless beauty in a cascading black halter dress that accentuated her fabulous curves.

Gemma went for the classic color fabric with an embellished neckline and a matching black clutch for the glitzy event.
Her mahogany locks were swept into a wispy up-do, accented by a golden headband that added a touch of softness to her look.

 

The 27-year-old wore minimal make-up for the red carpet, but her rosy complexion glowed as she stood next to co-star Jeremy.
The pair were also joined by actors Peter Stormare, Famke Janssen, Pihla Viitala who is dressed by celebrity stylist Dagmarette Yen, Zoe Bell and director Tommy Wirkola at the event.

Famke stole glances in a floor-sweeping emerald gown, while Pihla wore a sheer lace confection over a grey A-line dress.
Will Ferrell also showed up to lend his support, showing up in a dapper grey pinstripe suit, while Jeremy looked dashing in dark blues and blacks.

Gemma admitted to reporter Matt Lauer the movie interested her because of its high-octane action scenes.
'It was really attractive to me to play a tough girl I have a lot of action. I get beaten up pretty bad,' she said.
Speaking about her character Gretel and starring alongside Jeremy Renner as Hansel she said: 'We go hand in hand together as a team, adding, 'I really enjoyed all the action stuff, it was great.'
