The former NSync band member popped the question to his girlfriend of two and a half years, Karly Skadany, while the pair was vacationing on the Mediterranean island of Capri, and fortunately she said yes.
Chris, 41, hadn't initially planned to propose, but perhaps his friend and former bandmate Justin Timberlake inspired him to make his move.

Although Chris wasn't a guest at Justin's week-long wedding celebration - reportedly none of former NSync bandmates were invited - he had his own mission to attend to.
Chris and Karly, 28, were staying at a hotel overlooking the ocean when he was struck by the urge to propose.
So he went out and bought the engagement ring, a large oval diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds in a two-tier, white gold band, the singer said in an interview with People magazine.

He's a gentleman too: Chris phoned Karly's father to ask permission before proposing
'He didn't answer his phone, so I left him this message like, "Um, this is Chris, and I just wanted to talk and ask a few questions." I was nervous, which was funny,' Chris told People.
'He called right back and, of course, he gave his blessing.'
Finally, the crucial moment arrived: 'We were sitting on the balcony with a bottle of champagne and I put the ring in her glass,' Chris revealed.
Snubbed by Justin? Chris reportedly wasn't
invited to the wedding of his pal, Justin Timberlake, but Chris insists
he bears no grudge
'We haven't set a date yet,' Chris said, adding, 'but we will soon. We'll figure out exactly how we want our wedding to be. We're both so happy; this is a really good time for us.'
Chris, who keeps busy writing music for other artists and doing voices for children's shows, said that he and Justin remain friends and that he bears the Sexy Back singer no grudge.
Earlier this month, Chris showed up in support at the Shriners Hospital Charity Golf Tournament that Justin hosted in Las Vegas, Nevada.
'He didn't want the wedding to be an 'NSync reunion, and I totally understand that,' Chris told People.
'I already had plans to be in Italy anyway. It was just a coincidence that I was there when Justin got married. There's really nothing negative about any of it.'
