Tres chic! French actress Marion Cotillard is divine in Dior as she displays her slender figure in edgy black and cream gown

The French are known for their incredibly chic approach to dressing.
And actress Marion Coitillard certainly raised the fashion stakes at the premiere of her new movie Rust and Bone on Monday night during the 2012 AFI Fest at Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
The 37-year-old actress looked stunning in a black and cream edgy Dior gown, featuring a short in the front and long in the back hemline, which expertly displayed her slender figure.

The Inception star paired the attire with some simple black heels from the fashion house and wore her brunette tresses in a classic French roll hairstyle for the evening.
The sophisticated look was rounded out with Chopard jewels and perfectly applied smokey eye make-up, which made her azure blue eyes pop even more.
The stunning star posed on the red-carpet with her co-star Matthias Schoenaerts, who looked dapper in a black suit, white shirt and skinny tie, most likely from Dior Homme.

In Rust and Bone, Marion plays a whale trainer, Stéphanie, who loses her legs in an accident and must battle to embrace love, life and sex.  
Discussing her role in the film, directed by Oscar-nominated French Director, Jacques Audiardin, in the December issue of Harper's Bazaar, she said: 'Well, I mean, I love my job, but I’m not going to cut my legs off.
'Stéphanie loses her legs. It’s a shock.  If she’d been without them for years, I would have worked differently.  But I had to learn with her how it felt – that loss. How it changes her.'
